Anamikàge Welcome !

Kwey Kwey Hello !

Welcome to the newest website for the Snimikobi Algonquin First Nation.

This is the place for community members to find information about community events, job opportunities and updates on the current process of negotiations for the Algonquin land claim.

It will also be a resource for others outside of the community to learn about the histories of the Algonquin and Snimikobi people and discover a perspective of modern indigenous life.

There will be ongoing updates to this website with additional material being added regularly, such as job listing posts, language directory additions, community member spotlights, significant current event news articles, and educational resource links.

We hope this website will be a functional resource for all its visitors.

Miigwetch Thank you !
